Talkin' about the generations...

When I was young, I would interview my grandparents with a tape recorder about life in the olden days. And I would listen to the bittersweet recordings of aged Hebrews recorded on Simon and Garfunkel's Bookends album.

But today's kids... they have video cameras, they have YouTube, and the result is this very charming interview with an elderly Lower East Side resident, courtesy of high schooler Yarden Yanover:
