Snapshot from Teaneck Shuls List

The following was just posted to TeaneckShuls:

I recently, on a whim, bought a boat. Don't ask - one of those "well, I'm standing here anyway, might as well buy it" moments that we all have.
Anyone know of a good body of water where I can take it for a try? Thanks.
Personally, whenever I've had a "might as well buy it" moment with a book, the bathtub always seemed like a good place for a maiden voyage.

That person posted to the wrong list. He should try "Teaneck Churches" where he will get lots of replies. On "Teaneck Shuls" unlikely anyone knows where to go boating.

It would make a great opening anecdote for my never-to-be-written story about Orthodox affluence.

The smarmy language and casual display of ostentatious spending are particularly offensive in light of the struggles too many people go through to merely put food on the table. I hope he gets seasick.
