My annual year-in-review poem. A taste:

Elsewhere a legion of those who hate Darwin

And the theory that apes begat men

Said that the world must have a designer

And that God was its divine Ralph Lauren.

In Dover, Pa., the school board revolted

And demanded that textbooks instill

The notion their kids didn’t descend from a monkey,

And the judge said, “Don’t worry, they will.”
