Having bent over for Santorum, will OU now be caught in the Holocaust-denial crossfire?

It looks like those liberal anti-fascists offended by Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Manondog) are now being pointed to some of his earlier remarks where compared the New York Times to the Nazis and Communists.

He got a lot of applause for those remarks, but I wonder how Betty Ehrenberg will feel when reporters belatedly hear Santorum's speech at the 2003 OU convention.

It makes me wonder: If the OU is willing to buy into the Christian myth that the Nazis were a reflection of secularism, and conveniently ignore both a couple millenia of Christian antiSemitism and the role played by anti-secular, anti-socialist Catholic and Protestant groups in Hitler's rise to power -- well, with that kind of judgement, can we really trust their hashgacha?
