This Yom Ha'atzmaut, take a minute to celebrate America's support for the Middle East's second Shi'ite state!

This Is Rumor Control reports (as rumor, 80% confidence) that:

There are currently several thousand Pasadran, Iran's Revolutionary Guards, in Iraq's Basra region in the south, sent there to exert Iran's influence on the majority Shi'ah population that dominates Iraq's new government.
I'm glad no-one in my family died in the past two years fighting on behalf of the Iranian Revolution.
