If you voted for war, it’s past time you enlisted.

So says Norwegianity, who adds:

I don’t think I’ve ever met a pro-environment person who didn’t stoop down to pick up litter on a regular basis. I do it around my apartment building. I may not grab every piece of trash, but if I see it twice, I usually grab it and take it to the dumpster.

But what exactly do pro-war people do besides yelling “War, war, war!” Do they visit our troops in military hospitals? Volunteer at local VA facilities? Put on fundraisers for the families of Guard members no longer pulling down decent paychecks?

Or do they just go about their business doing their damnedest to ignore any and all bad news from Iraq?

John Tierney thinks the press, anyway, should do their damnedest to ignore any and all bad news from Iraq. See http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/10/opinion/10tierney.html?
