Fleischer does not say much about his Jewish upbringing and does not address his decision to marry a non-Jewish woman, which surprised some in the Washington Jewish community.

I confess to not paying much attention to Ari Fleischer. Were people suprised that he married a woman, that he married rather than just shacking up, that he married only one woman, or that he decided to marry a non-Jew?
