Barbara Lawrence, one of the state's most high-profile sprawl opponents, announced yesterday she was leaving the nonprofit New Jersey Future after 12 years to become executive director of the Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation in Teaneck.TrackBackDuring her tenure, the battle against poorly planned overdevelopment became a rallying cry and top political issue in New Jersey and nationwide. But Lawrence said it was time to move on.
